Basic Salmon
Estimated time: 30 minutes.
What you need:
- Salmon filet (any portion that fits in your baking tray and oven)
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Old Bay
Get to it:
- Coat the tray with oil (or cover with parchment paper, or aluminium foil).
- Lay the salmon on the baking tray, with the skin down.
- Salt to taste. (Go light on the salt for salmon, if you ask me...)
- Sprinkle the black pepper generously.
- Add Old Bay.
- Put in the over, pre-heat to 425 F.
- Most portions cook in around 25-35 minutes. (Less time for smaller portions).
- Tip: when you see a white mass coming out of the salmon in some parts, it should be done.
