Salmon-Avocado Toast
Estimated time: 5 minutes (with leftover salmon).
What you need:
- Bread (one slice of a quality one, your favorite)
- Butter
- Leftover Salmon, enough to cover the bread slice.
- Hass Avocado (1/2)
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Red Pepper Flakes
- Green Onions
Get to it:
- Put your slice of bread in the toaster.
- Warm up the leftover portion of the salmon on the microwave (30 seconds should do it).
- Cut the avocado in half, remove pit. Carve one half on a small bowl. (Save the other half for tomorrow, or mash it all for two slices of bread.)
- Mash avocado with fork. Be patient, work it until desired consistency.
- Add olive oil (as much as you want) and salt (ditto). Also red pepper. Mix it all one last time.
- Your bread should be ready on the toaster. Butter the bread.
- Distribuite the salmon, covering the bread.
- Add the mashed avocado on top of salmon.
- Spring sliced green onions on top of the avocado smash.
